Introduction about MBA Program

The Master’s program in Business Administration (MBA) provides students with the skills and knowledge that enable them to integrate various business functions with the overall strategy of an organization. Therefore, the program is designed in such a way that it equips graduates with advanced tools of entrepreneurship, project management, business research, and skillful identification of consumers’ need, enhanced integrated communication, and improved arts of commodity marketing, professional business development and consultancy, global marketing and higher-level skills in strategic planning for organizations.

Objectives of the MBA Program

This MBA program is planned to achieve the following specific objectives:

  • Provide an underpinning  knowledge and skills needed by senior managers at the strategic management level so that they can contribute to and improve the achievement of their organization’s strategic objectives;
  • Provide an analytical and multi-perspective framework that  enables trainees  to recognize, identify and evaluate key management issues which critically impact organizational performance and strategic direction;
  • Enhance the student's ability to integrate into the strategic thinking, direction setting, planning and operation of the organization;
  • Building governance and leadership capacity of higher government officials to enhance development efforts and administrative responsibility.
  • Provide opportunities to trainees to use their practical experiences to enhance their line of profession.

Master of Computer Science (MSCS)

Introduction about MSCS Program

The program is aiming to produce well rounded individuals who are productive and responsible members of society familiar with the technical concepts and practices in the computing &information technology domains. The program provides graduates with competency and knowledge to take on appropriate professional roles in information technology industry or to pursue further education.  To provide students with in depth knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science so as to satisfy the technological needs in the private and public sector.

Objectives of the MSCS Program

The main objective of the Master of Science in Computer Science is to equip students with advanced skills in Computer Science. Specifically, the objectives of the program are to:

  •  Provide students with skills to deploy and manage Computer infrastructures in organizations so as to improve their effectiveness
  • Provide students with research skills which will help then grow with the technological advancements as well as help them participate in the development of new technologies
  •  Produce trained manpower in Computer Science for higher learning institutions as well as other organizations,
  • Use and apply current technical concepts and practices in the core information technologies.
  • Analyze, identify and define the requirements that must be satisfied to address    problems    or    opportunities    faced    by    individuals    or organizations.
  • Identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies and assess their impact on individuals, organizations and society; including ethical, legal and policy issues.
  • Demonstrate independent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Collaborate in teams to accomplish a common goal by integrating personal initiative and group cooperation.
