Information Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the highest priority areas in the Country’s development agenda. The Gov’t, in its Second Growth and Transformation Plan- GTP II, has initiated a comprehensive national ICT development program (including the establishment of ICT parks) which recognizes ICT as one of the critical enabler to accelerate economic growth and bring about the required transformation in all sectors of the economy.
In order to support and positively impact the national ICT development effort of the Country, which continues to be one of the major drivers of socio-economic change in the years to come, ACT strongly believes in becoming among the forerunners and key players not only in expediting the development of intellectual capital in both business and technology but also in producing professionals who are highly valued experts with the appropriate multi and interdisciplinary knowledge in their respective fields.
In order to add momentum to the relevance of the quality of its education and training programs in the Country, ACT is currently partnering and collaborating with US based institutions. ACT has already signed a partnership agreement with MUM, which is one of the pioneer institutions of higher learning in management and technology in the US, in order to take the relevance of postgraduate studies in the Country to the next higher level.
